City Council foots their own bill

It was great to see the new Spokane Valley City Council members sitting and having coffee with Valley citizens.

They pay for their own coffee. This is a real breath of fresh air, after the old council preferred $500 to $900 catered dinners, paid by us taxpayers.

The new council looks like down-to-earth, old-fashioned democracy. Good for them!

Let’s just hope these new members stay open and faithful to the Valley people.
