Late scoring lifts Braves

Two third-period goals gave the Spokane Braves a 3-1 victory Sunday over the Beaver Valley Nitehawks at Eagles Ice-A-Rena on Sunday.

Nick Redding opened the scoring for Spokane in the first period. Jake Peterson and Jesse Collins added goals in the third.

Cash Ulrich recorded 20 saves for Spokane.

The victory lifted Spokane’s record to 24-19-0-2, third in its division.
