Idaho’s first lady will speak at fundraiser

Idaho first lady Lori Otter will be the keynote speaker Wednesday at a luncheon fundraiser to support the Idaho Meth Project.

“Givin’ Meth the Boot” will be held at the Coeur d’Alene Resort from noon to 1:30 p.m.

It follows an educational forum held in Coeur d’Alene last Wednesday aimed at teaching parents and children about meth’s dangers. The nonprofit Meth Project relies on private sector support to spread its prevention message, which includes a media campaign.
