Brooke in rehab, just babble?

Sheen
From Wire Reports

A lawyer for Charlie Sheen’s wife said Wednesday that she’s recovering at a North Carolina wellness center after an infection that nearly took her life.

Brooke Sheen was flown by private plane from Los Angeles after her release from a hospital, attorney Yale Galanter said.

He denied Internet reports that she was in drug or alcohol rehab.

The Sheens have a Feb. 8 court date in Aspen, Colo., stemming from a domestic violence incident that brought police to their Colorado home on Christmas Day.

Heroes and zeros

Speaking of celebrity substance abuse, Cameron Douglas, the 31-year-old son of actor Michael Douglas, pleaded guilty Wednesday to dealing large quantities of methamphetamine and cocaine while holed up in a trendy Manhattan hotel where he was arrested last year.

He faces a minimum 10-year prison term at sentencing on April 27. Prosecutors said Douglas had signed a plea agreement, but the details weren’t disclosed.

And “Heroes” TV actor Adrian Pasdar was arrested early Wednesday for allegedly driving drunk and veering across lanes on a West Los Angeles freeway.

And speaking of larceny …

Jay Leno tells Oprah Winfrey that he hasn’t spoken to Conan O’Brien during the furor surrounding custody of “The Tonight Show.”

In the interview airing today on Winfrey’s show, Leno says “it didn’t seem appropriate” to talk while negotiations were ongoing, but they might after “things cool down.”
