Spokane Valley man cited in case of double exposure
A 53-year-old naked man was cited for indecent exposure after standing in traffic fondling himself, police said.
Spokane Valley Police Officer Chuck Sciortino reported that he was on routine patrol when he came across Gene F. Young exposing himself from the curb of East Sprague Avenue just before 10 p.m. Thursday.
The man ran when he saw the officer coming, so Sciortino chased him across a parking lot next to an auto parts store and caught up with him when he fell.
Young identified himself verbally, and then was issued a citation for indecent exposure before being allowed to walk to his home about 50 yards away in the 4700 block of East First Avenue.
Police said Young exhibited signs of intoxication.
