Two men stabbed

Police are investigating what appears to be a gang-related stabbing involving two men early this morning in southeast Spokane. Spokane police officers were called to 616 S. Helena St., about 3 a.m., and found two victims with life-threatening stab wounds. The two men, one in his 20s and another in his 40s, may be related, police said. The victims, who were not identified, were taken to a local hospital where they were in stable condition Saturday afternoon. An initial investigation revealed that the incident may be gang-related. The investigation is ongoing.
