Fiscal, labor grasp needed

In this year’s race for Spokane County commissioner, there is one candidate who stands out from the crowd. Jeff Holy has the experience the office demands and a strong sense of fiscal responsibility. As a current member of the Law Enforcement and Firefighters’ Retirement Plan Board, a board that oversees $3.9 billion in assets, Jeff has helped study pension issues, set contribution rates, and recommend pension policy to the state Legislature. This board is one of the few Washington state retirement funds which are fully funded.

Jeff is a steadfast supporter of limiting government intrusion into our personal and financial affairs. He aims to revitalize Spokane County’s business climate and create more employment opportunities for Spokane’s citizens. A retired police officer, Jeff’s experience will be a tremendous asset when negotiating contracts with the county unions. He is also a strong advocate for public safety.

In short, Jeff’s experience and commitment to the good of Spokane are qualities that make him the best candidate. Please join me in electing Jeff Holy as our next county commissioner.
