Time for Tucker to go

Budget cuts and staffing cuts. A prosecuting attorney heads a large department of dedicated professional attorneys and staff. Like any government agency, the prosecutor’s office needs to be well managed – it needs to be efficient and appropriately funded.

Part of the prosecutor’s job is to secure appropriate funding from county, state and federal sources. The current prosecutor did virtually nothing to save many crucial deputy prosecuting attorney positions in these tough times when his employees are pressed to the maximum.

Steve Tucker should have seriously fought for appropriate funding for the prosecutor’s office. Time to lay Tucker off!
