Auditions

“Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story” – Spokane Civic Theatre, Wednesday, 6:30-9 p.m., 1020 N. Howard St. Needed: three men, appearing ages 22-32. Auditioners will be expected to perform a verse and a chorus from a contemporary musical or a 1950s rock ’n’ roll song in addition to cold readings from the script (bring sheet music, accompanist provided). Summer Arts Program for Youth – Sponsored by the Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission. Vision Seekers Youth Art Workshop – Interactive arts education retreat for local youth to experience Native American art and culture, including featherwork with Dave Browneagle, sculpting with soapstone by George Hill, acrylic painting with Ric Gendron and storytelling with Cliff SiJohn. Summer Theatre Arts Camp – For youth ages 11-16. Covers acting, storytelling, monologue and scene writing, ballroom and world dance, mask making, puppetry and teamwork on stage.
