New faces

Lorelei Barrett has been hired as a sales associate for Windermere North Spokane LLC. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in interior design from Washington State University.

Next-IT Corp. has hired Justin Didier as a natural language model technician. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Eastern Washington University and previously worked on his family’s farm in Pasco.

Kari Bug-Wiltse has been hired as store manager of Maurices at NorthTown Mall. The company has also hired Susan Erlandson as store manager of its Spokane Valley Mall store.

Miller Paint Co. has hired Jim Boersma, Greg Pieroni and Byron Nelson as executives for the company’s Spokane office, representing the Eastern Washington/Northern Idaho markets. All three individuals have more than 21 years of paint industry experience.

Ryan Laws has been hired by Next-IT Corp. as a natural language model technician. He previously provided Web/IT support for Delta Business Training Center, worked as a Web developer and programmer, and holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Eastern Washington University.

Spokane Allergy and Asthma Clinic has hired Dr. Ron England. England previously served as chief of Wilford Hall Medical Center’s Allergy/Immunology Clinic, where he also completed fellowships in allergy/immunology and clinical laboratory/immunology. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, a Doctor of Medicine degree from Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences and completed his residency in internal medicine at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi.

Nikki Rabey has been hired by Bozzi Media as community outreach and events director. She previously worked for Cancer Patient Care and holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with minors in business and communications from Eastern Washington University.

HDR One Company has hired Justin Manning as a computer-aided design technician for the firm’s power department. He previously worked for Cascade Windows in Spokane Valley.

Promotions

Stephanie Fletcher has been promoted to nurse practitioner for Cancer Care Northwest. She recently completed the nurse practitioner program at Washington State University and has been with the company since 2000.

Ev Hopkins has been promoted to vice president of human resources and organizational development for Spokane Teachers Credit Union. She previously served as director of learning and leader development and has been with the company since 1995.

Kudos

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design presented Gonzaga University’s PACCAR Center for Applied Science with “Gold” green building certification.

Barbara Nolan and Twylla Rehder have been selected as fellows in the Institute of Museum and Library Services Western Regional Fellowship, “Transforming Life after 50.” Nolan is outreach coordinator for the Coeur d’Alene Public Library; Rehder is outreach coordinator for the Hayden Library.

Money Management International has named Addy Koder a Certified Money Management Volunteer. Koder is marketing manager at Global Credit Union in Spokane.

Gifts

Layman, Layman and Robinson donated $25,000 to St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute for the organization’s community project office therapy module.

Elected

The National Association of County and City Health Officials elected Torney Smith to its board of directors. Smith is administrator for Spokane Regional Health District.
