Documents no big deal

I am just incensed over the immigration policy of the federal government.

In the late ’60s and early ’70s, my wife, Joan, my son Ron and I went three times to Guadalajara, Mexico, to visit my mother and father. They had moved there because they loved the climate.

They had lots of hoops to jump through in order to get permission.

While we were visiting, for 30 days each time, we were asked on multiple occasions for our papers. Our papers proved that we had permission to be in their country. We never had any problem obeying their laws. “When in Rome …”

Just what part of illegal is it that members of Congress and the Obama administration don’t understand?

You go, Arizona!
