Men suspected in two Spokane cases

From staff reports

Two men arrested early Sunday are considered suspects in a robbery and a burglary case.

Orlando Jaramillo, 19, and Joseph Denison, 18, are behind bars at Spokane County Jail awaiting their first appearance today.

About 2:30 a.m., a bike patrol officer responded to a report of a purse-snatching in the downtown area, said Spokane police Officer Tim Moses. One of the men was caught after a short foot pursuit while a K-9 officer helped find the other.

“During this investigation, police discovered another call related to these two,” Moses said. Two men tried to break into a room at the Days Inn on West Third Avenue and were “trying to purchase drugs,” Moses said.
