Two dead in Grant County crash

Two teens are dead and another is in critical condition after their car crashed into a power pole in Grant County today. The three juveniles were westbound on Highway 28 about six miles east of Soap Lake about 4:15 p.m., when their car left the roadway and struck a power pole, said Washington State Patrol Trooper Rich Magnussen. Two of the individuals in the car were pronounced dead at the scene, and a third was transported to a hospital in critical condition, he said. Authorities are still on the scene of the accident, which is under investigation, Magnussen said.
