Elevator fee formula wrong
The proposed annual fees for elevator inspections being considered by Spokane City Council would increase to $175 for hydraulic and $350 for cable elevators, with an additional $22 for each elevator stop beyond the first two levels or floors. Because of an editing error, the formula for calculating when additional fees are charged was incorrect in a story on Sunday’s Northwest page.
