Driver dies in rollover on Idaho Highway 3
A 63-year-old man died Tuesday morning after his truck rolled on state Highway 3 near Fernwood, Idaho.
Leo G. Munden, of St. Maries, was southbound on the highway about 11:20 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road, the Idaho State Police reported.
Munden’s 1986 Nissan pickup went off the east shoulder and traveled about 450 feet before striking a group of trees and rolling. Munden, who was not wearing a seat belt, was partially ejected, ISP said. He died at the scene.
