Yakima blaze fully contained
Yakima – A wildfire that started Sunday and burned across nearly 10 square miles of dry grass and sagebrush in central Washington has been fully contained.
West Valley Fire and Rescue spokeswoman Christy Boisselle said Wednesday the estimated cost to fight the blaze is $800,000. Investigators are saying the fire was human caused.
The spokeswoman says four outbuildings and one vacant residence were destroyed and a vacant structure owned by the Department of Fish and Wildlife was damaged.
