Party line rejected

Over the past two years, John Driscoll has been exactly the type of independent leadership that Spokane needs in Olympia. Not only did he reject every tax increase proposed on the floor of the Legislature, he has time and time again fought to get Spokane’s hard-working citizens back to work.

John has also been great for Spokane’s business community, protecting us in this tough economic climate. Because of this, the Business Institute of Washington named John Driscoll a Business Star Legislator of 2009.

John has fought the party line, consistently standing up to the Democratic Party leadership and working across the aisle to bring money back to Spokane.

Most importantly, John’s strong background in the health care industry has made him THE health care expert in Olympia. He is exceptionally well positioned to get state funding for a four-year medical school in Spokane. This would be a huge for boost for that industry in our city.

I am proud to support John Driscoll’s re-election campaign. He is a Spokanite through and through. I am glad we are represented by such an honest and hard-working individual in Olympia.
