Towing appeal deadline incorrect
Shawn Vestal’s column Friday stated incorrectly that the deadline had passed for people to challenge the legality of towing done over Hoopfest weekend, due to a reporting error. The deadline depends on whether people whose vehicles were towed were given proper notice of their rights.
Candidate’s education misstated
The educational background of Spokane County assessor candidate Gina McKenzie was misstated Saturday due to a reporter’s error. McKenzie has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Eastern Washington University as well as a bachelor’s in English and a master’s in teaching from Whitworth University.
