Armed robbers bind Burger King employee, assault another

Employees of a Burger King on North Division were confronted by three armed robbers at closing time early today with one employee being bound by duct tape and another assaulted.

The employees were finishing up their closing work about midnight when a worker was confronted at the garbage bins by the three robbers, KHQ reported. That worker was bound with the tape.

Police later today said it was not clear whether two or three robbers were involved.

The robbers then went into the restaurant at 1723 N. Division St. with weapons and demanded money. One employee was assaulted, but the wounds were not serious. A gun and knife were displayed.

The robbers fled on foot west through an alley. A K-9 was unable to follow a trail.

these types of incidents will be on the rise. when the average Joe as no money to give the panhandlers, other measures will be adopted. Lucky no one was hurt.

Businesses should have video running 24hrs a day. This technology is cheap now compared to years ago.

I think a lot of these recent robberies are inside jobs performed by friends of workers and they end up splitting the proceeds.

I’ve been accused of helping plan an inside job before, and being accused was pretty crappy when I was the victim of legitimatly being robbed. Don’t underestimate peoples ability to plan this sort of thing without the aid of an “inside person”..

These type of things will only get worse as america sinks into third world status. The wealthy are moving their money out of this country as the real crimminals in government and banking steal whatever they want and we just sit here and watch. First, the elimination of liveable wage jobs for the middle class, next, the need for breadlines, wait that has already happend. The capitalists have decided to dupe the people of china and india into keeping up with the jones’s type mentality by letting the credit start to flow in these countries. The only way to create the kind of wealth the truly wealthy have is to create debt, and these people are experts at that, just look at the massive debt they have created in america, not just the people, but our government also. All you people out there that have two or three million in investments are going to be the big losers, the rest of us are already getting used to being poor.

As the economy worsens and people are finding themselves in dire straights, even reasonable people are considering turning to crime. If you cant meet your basic needs of food shelter and security, then you’re capable of pretty much anything.

I guess the robbers were black because there isn’t a description. If they were White, there would be a description. And so it goes…
