Man stabbed after argument on lower South Hill

Criminal charges are expected in connection with a stabbing sparked by an argument on the lower South Hill on Wednesday night.

Spokane police said they have identified a suspect in the 10:30 p.m. incident that stemmed from an argument between two men who were acquainted with each other. There was a history of animosity between the men, police said.

The incident occurred outside a Zip Trip Store at 10th Avenue and Maple Street. The victim suffered numerous wounds, but they were not life threatening, officers said.

    It’s not that rare. I encountered far more crime (car break-in’s, vandalization to houses and cars, etc..) living in a nice house on 13th and monroe then I see living in brownes addition.. Funny how brownes gets such a bad rep, yet worse happens in a typically nicer area of town..Oh wait, the rich are criminals too? Who woulda guessed!
