Salvation Army seeks school supplies

The Salvation Army is collecting school supplies for kids in need.

Members of the community can help make sure students will have the necessary supplies to make their school year successful.

Supplies will be collected through Aug. 31 and may be dropped off at the Salvation Army Community Services Office, 222 E. Indiana Ave., from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Collection bins will also be located at ShopKo, Fred Meyer, Rite Aid, Walgreens, PrimeSource Credit Union and Washington State Employees Credit Union in Spokane.
