Man sustains head wound in evening shooting
A Spokane man was hospitalized this evening after sustaining a gunshot wound to the head in the area of Bigelow Gulch.
The man’s wound is not life-threatening, police said.
The man was in a car with a female driver, and they drove to the Spokane County Fire District 9 station near Bigelow Gulch and Jensen roads after he sustained the wound, around 6 p.m., the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies are still investigating the events leading up to the shooting, they said.
