Leadership qualities show

As a former representative in the 6th District, I am aware of the qualities necessary to be successful in Olympia. Your representative must be hard-working and able to work across the aisle to negotiate positive legislation. She must be willing to listen to all of her constituents and work with whoever can help bring Olympia under control.

Having had the opportunity to work with all three of the candidates in multiple capacities, one stands out. I am fully supporting Shelly O’Quinn to be our next state representative in the 6th District. She has the background, knowledge and temperament to help guide our Legislature in a positive direction.

Shelly’s experience working with nonprofits and business proves that she can work with diverse groups, and she has proven her leadership as an executive director of a start-up foundation. The other two candidates have had opportunities to move our state in a different direction and have shown limited ability to do so.

It is time that Washington heads in a new direction and Shelly O’Quinn can help lead us there.
