Wheelchair user hit near Division and Francis
A man who uses a wheelchair was hit while crossing in an intersection near Division Street and Francis Avenue around 4 p.m. today.
Witnesses initially said the man was not moving, but once medical response arrived they found him conscious, the Spokane police said. He sustained a non-life threatening injury and was transported to Providence Holy Family Hospital for treatment.
At this time, the police believe the man in the wheelchair was alone, and only one vehicle was involved. Police are currently investigating the fault of the accident.
The accident remains under investigation.
