Police on Wednesday released surveillance photos of a car believed to belong to two men who stole a car at gunpoint in a fast-food drive-through early Monday.

The photos show a white, four-door sedan at McDonald’s, 909 W. Indiana Ave., about 3 a.m., just before two men carjacked a Mitsubishi Lancer in a dispute over loud music.

The men were in the white car when the Lancer pulled up and a confrontation ensued over the Lancer’s stereo volume. Police found the Lancer – without its stereo – about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in a vacant lot in the area of 1800 West Boone Avenue. Its stereo had been stolen.

Anyone with information should call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
