Fairfield City Council – The town has received a Sewer Systems Improvement Project grant for $136,690. Union Pacific Railroad conducted repairs on the track crossing Main Street this week. The recent work party in Thiel Park was a success. (Source: Town clerk Cheryl Loeffler)

Rockford City Council – The council will update the flood ordinance at the next meeting. The town has been notified that it has received a $70,000 Community Development Block Grant for a pump house addition. The annual report was presented. Sidewalk work is continuing and should be complete in July. (Source: Town clerk Darlene LaShaw)
