Salvation Army to open refinished gym

The public is invited to a celebration today for the Salvation Army’s newly refinished gym at 222 E. Indiana Ave.

The new floor was donated by Hoopfest, the annual Spokane 3-on-3 basketball tournament. Other contributors to the community project include Kimmel Athletic Supply, Ruehl Construction Inc., Superior Floor Refinishing and KSR Graphics.

The ribbon-cutting begins at 5:15 p.m., and don’t forget to remove your street shoes.
