Nevada-Lyons closure postponed to Thursday

Closure of the intersection of Nevada Street and Lyons Avenue just north of Francis Avenue for paving is being postponed from today to Thursday due to rain. The paving is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. City officials said motorists will have to use detours around the intersection, which provides access to residences and stores in the area. It is the second closure on Nevada for paving in recent weeks.
