Israel not a good friend

The Spokesman-Review

The recent Israeli attack on the Turkish aid ships is troubling. The Turkish ship is considered the sovereign territory of Turkey when in international waters. As a member of NATO, America is obliged to help Turkey if so requested.

I am tired of giving Israel a free pass for its long history of rogue behavior. After 43 years, it is obvious that Israel has no intention of returning the land it stole in 1967. Israel is not an ally but instead has become a strategic liability.

How many more Americans have to die for a greater Israel and Zionism? The other religious zealots don’t hate us for our freedoms, but for our unwavering support of Israel, whether Israel is right or wrong. We should treat Israel just like any other country and move on.
