Poor use of tax dollars

The Spokesman-Review

I agree with columnist Doug Clark on the city’s massive waste of money on this stupid and asinine calendar I just received in the mail along with my $87 water and garbage bill.

In these times of tight finances and with no money to spend, this is where my city tax dollars are going and being spent on? Not only that, but releasing a 15-month calendar in the middle of the year? Please!

I don’t know whose idea this was (this calendar is so blasé and ugly, I immediately threw it in the garbage) but next time try saving me and the rest of the city’s taxpayers some money and maybe you can take that $3.38 charge for “storm water” (whatever it is) off my water bill. And keep your ugly calendar.
