Zion Lutheran to offer ‘Imagine’ Bible school

Another Valley vacation Bible school session is approaching fast. Zion Lutheran Church will host its session from July 6-9. Classes will be held daily from 9 to 11:45 a.m. for children age 4 through the sixth grade.

The theme of the camp is “Imagine” and children will all receive a “top secret” T-shirt. The musical team from Camp Lutherhaven will be at the camp each day to sing with the kids. The suggested donation is $15, which includes a shirt. Parents are asked to register their children by July 1. Call the church office at (509) 926-5407 for more information or to register.

This is the fourth year for the garden, which is grown entirely to benefit the Spokane Valley Partners Food Bank and church members. Last year volunteers harvested more than 2,400 pounds of food for the Food Bank.
