Victim identified in mowing fatality

The Spokesman-Review
A cemetery worker killed Friday when his lawn tractor overturned was identified Tuesday as Robert A. Villa, 44. Spokane County officials said he was mowing along a 6- to 8-foot embankment in Greenwood Memorial Terrace, 211 N. Government Way, in an area designated for hand mowing. The tractor apparently bounced in a depression, causing it to roll down the embankment and land on top of Villa about 7:20 a.m. He died at the scene, sheriff’s deputies said.
