EWU women will host

With Idaho State beating Sacramento State in overtime Friday, Eastern Washington clinched the regular-season Big Sky title and will host the conference tournament.

The Eagles (18-10, 11-4 Big Sky) will welcome the top six teams to Cheney beginning Thursday at Reese Court. EWU has a bye until Friday.

Washington State 67, Oregon 53: Jazmine Perkins scored 19 points and hit a career-high five 3-pointers as the Cougars ended a two-game losing streak by beating the Ducks in Pullman.

April Cook added 16 points as the Cougars (8-20, 3-14 Pac-10) handed the Ducks (16-13, 7-10) their fifth straight loss.

Washington 67, Oregon State 49: Sami Whitcomb scored 14 points, Laura McLellan 12 and Kristi Kingma 11 to help the Huskies (11-16, 6-11 Pac-10) extend the visiting Beavers’ losing streak to 17 games.

Talia Rhea scored 12 points, Haiden Palmer 10 and Julie Futch nine for Oregon State (9-19, 1-16).
