Fairfield City Council – The Fairfield 2010 yard debris collection will be April 24 at the Truax Fire Station. The council is looking into purchasing new window blinds at the Community Center. A citizen expressed concern about a upcoming visit to Olympia by the mayor and three other others for a resolution on the town’s Flag Day celebration. Travel expenses are expected to be less than $550. Three picnic tables are being refurbished. Some people have been using the town’s gazebo as a restroom. The bathrooms in Thiel Park will now be open during City Hall office hours until April. (Source: Town clerk Cheryl Loeffler)

Rockford City Council – Bid opening for the Emma Street sidewalk construction project is set for March 8. The project is expected to begin in April. Water reservoir construction is expected to begin in August and conclude in December. The community yard sale has been scheduled for June 4 and 5 and the town will once again have community gardens this year.

Liberty Lake SCOPE – Volunteers discussed upcoming public events including the annual Easter egg hunt. They will host a gang awareness seminar that will be open to the public on April 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Liberty Lake City Hall. (Source: President Tom Lundstrom)
