Driver accused hitting 2 at WSU to stand trial

A Moscow man accused of injuring two Washington State University students in a December hit-and-run has been released from a hospital and deemed ready to stand trial. Denis Tracy, the prosecutor for Whitman County, Wash., says doctors at Eastern State Hospital declared 31-year-old Dan Noble fit to stand trial. The Lewiston Tribune reports Superior Court Judge David Frazier set Noble’s arraignment for April 9. He is charged with two felony counts of vehicular assault, two felony counts of hit and run and misdemeanor resisting arrest. Noble’s attorney, Mark Moorer, has previously told the court his client was suffering from caffeine-induced psychosis brought on by too much coffee and energy drinks.
