Driver, 78, killed in plunge down hill near Kamiah
A 78-year-old Kamiah, Idaho, man died Sunday when his Chevy Blazer veered off state Highway 64 near Kamiah and plunged 624 feet down the steep embankment.
The Idaho State Patrol said Charles T. Brown died at the scene about 9:45 a.m. when his vehicle crashed into a rock and vaulted into the creek.
Brown was wearing a seat belt. The cause of the accident remained under investigation.
