Showers possible after Sunday’s rain
Showers are possible today following a cold front that crossed the region and brought rain on Sunday.
National Weather Service forecasters said there is a 30 percent chance of showers, and then cloudy conditions will prevail. A high around 50 is expected.
Also, wind gusts to 18 mph from the west are likely.
Radar images showed showers across Northeast Washington this afternoon.
Improving weather on Tuesday and Wednesday should bring sun to the region before the next chance of precipitation arrives on Thursday.
Highs should reach the middle to upper 50s on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Spokane International Airport reported .20 inches of rain on Sunday.
At 7 a.m., it was 49 at the airport and 52 in downtown Spokane.
