Campaign regulators recommend no action against Rossi
OLYMPIA — Campaign regulators say the state should not take any legal action against former gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi, in a case alleging that he improperly lined up campaign donations.
The Public Disclosure Commission voted 3-1 Thursday to recommend no enforcement action in the case.
Supporters of Democratic Gov. Chris Gregoire claimed that Rossi illegally coordinated donations with the Building Industry Association of Washington — a conservative trade group.
Gregoire supporters also sued BIAW over the allegations. Rossi, the Republican candidate, had to testify as a witness shortly before the 2008 election.
Gregoire eventually won the race. Rossi is now considering a possible run against U.S. Sen. Patty Murray, D-Washington.

This was a foregone conclusion. Dino I know for years. He doesn’t have an illegal bone in his body. This was a tactic from Gregoire and Pelz to hurt Rossi. Never had anything to do with truth. Run this Governor out! Lisa Brown is worse…same tactics, basically the same person. …same party.

Gregoire is so guilty. She turned over mailing lists from people who wrote her office to her campaign committiee.
