Marr needs to go

The Spokesman-Review

Since being elected in 2006, state Sen. Chris Marr has voted in favor of spending increases, tax hikes and a flood of new regulations. His crippling votes on our small businesses earned him a 22 percent rating from the Association of Washington Business in 2008.

As the “special” legislative session rages on, Chris Marr is the majority party’s majority whip, placing him in charge of ensuring all the necessary votes to pass new tax increases on you and me. In fact, last summer Chris Marr signed a letter to Congress asking them to not only pass the health care reform bill, which in itself contains a variety of unfunded mandates on our state, but requested the public option be a part of it. The values of the 6th Legislative District and the values of Chris Marr are incompatible.

This is a new year and a new election, and we need new leadership now more than ever.
