Small group bike tours

Spokane Parks and Recreation Department has a long list of excellent guided group bicycle tours from spring through fall at a modest cost and sometimes complete with van support and bicycle rentals.

Costs range from $45 for day trips on the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes to $63 for the Route of the Hiawatha to $425 for the four-day wine tours in British Columbia or near Walla Walla and Yakima.

A West Side group tour of tulip fields and bays starts at $450.

Post Falls Parks and Recreation offers an easy-going Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes Bicycle Tour and Lunch on May 8. Participants are transported by van from Post Falls to the trail where they can ride as vigorously as they wish before convening for lunch at Enaville Resort.
