Wallace woman dies in car crash

A 63-year-old Wallace woman was killed Monday night when her vehicle went off Prichard Creek Road and rolled.

Stephanie A. Gibbons died at the scene of the crash in the vicinity of milepost 6 near Prichard.

She was headed west in a 2001 Subaru Legacy station wagon when the vehicle went off the right shoulder and into the ditch and overturned, according to the Idaho State Police.

She was not wearing a seat belt, officers said. Alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the crash, which was under investigation.

The accident was reported to police at 9:54 p.m.
