Coeur d’Alene police

Clifford Hitchcock reported Tuesday the $700 theft of two chain saws from his home on the 3500 block of North Baron Court.

Kootenai County sheriff

Tracey Ragan, a Granite Enterprises employee, reported Tuesday the $1,200 theft of heavy-equipment batteries and $320 damage to a dump truck’s engine at the business on the 12800 block of North Idaho Road in Rathdrum.

Corinne Helton, Coeur d’Alene, reported Monday $750 damage to the door of a 1998 Ford pickup parked on the 8900 block of North Government Way in Hayden.
