Kidnapping suspect accused of robbery

A 37-year-old Moses Lake man was arrested Monday for an alleged kidnapping. Grant County sheriff’s deputies were called to the 4800 block of Airway Drive in Moses Lake after a 23-year-old man had reportedly been taken by force from a home about 10:20 p.m. Deputies arrived and found four men sitting in a car outside the home, one of whom was the victim. Gregorio Abarca-Lopez was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery and kidnap. Authorities said Abarca-Lopez allegedly threatened the victim with a .45-caliber semi-automatic pistol, demanded cash and forced him into the car.
