Wasted life matter of choice

The Spokesman-Review

I was driving down Division Street on Saturday when I passed a group of people at Franklin Park who were taking part in the Global Marijuana March. They were standing out in the rain with signs trying to get their point across. They all want marijuana use legalized.

Although I did not take part in the march and have no desire to do so, I do understand their point. People should have the rights to do whatever they want to themselves.

If a person has nothing better to do with his life than get high and sit around, why should he not be able to do so? Everyone should be able to spend their own time the way they want to and if they want the symptoms that come with marijuana use, well then that is their own choice.
