A security officer at a downtown Spokane bank nabbed a robbery suspect before the man left the property this morning.

David D. Thometz, 47, was arrested at Sterling Savings Bank, 11 N. Wall, accused of handing a teller a note demanding cash about 9:20 a.m. Bank security detained him until police arrived.
