A Spokane man missing since Tuesday has been spotted in Portland, police said today.
James J. Skelton has not been contacted by police, but Officer Jennifer DeRuwe said reports of him being in Portland are credible, and officers are no longer searching for him in Spokane.
Skelton, 53, was last seen walking from his granddaughter’s home near the 1300 block of East Courtland Avenue. He was there to give her a ride to his house.
His car was outside the granddaughter’s home, and a resident reported seeing him walking down the alley. He has a medical condition that requires ongoing treatment and he walks with a cane, police said.
