Police team up to catch suspect

The Spokesman-Review
A suspected robber is in jail after Moscow and Pullman police worked together Saturday to apprehend him in connection with a gunpoint holdup earlier in the week. The victim had called police at 5 p.m. Thursday to report that a man with a handgun approached him and demanded money as he smoked outside his apartment on South Mountain View Road, according to a Moscow Police Department news release. When the victim said he didn’t have any money, the robber hit him several times with the butt of the gun, the news release said. The victim identified his attacker as an acquaintance named Adrian Robinson, and the Latah County prosecutor’s office issued warrants for Robinson’s arrest on charges of aggravated battery and attempted robbery. Police received a tip late Friday night that Robinson was inside Stubblefields, a sports bar in Pullman. Robinson was arrested just after midnight Saturday by Pullman police and is now in the Whitman County Jail awaiting extradition to Latah County, police said.
