Spring cleaning takes on new scale

Ash removal was no small chore. Courtesy of Kathryn Shields (Courtesy of Kathryn Shields)

On Tuesday, Bill and the boys started cleaning up outside. They removed ash from the roofs of the house, garage and outbuildings.

They were able to scrape the ash off of the yard and into the driveway. They then picked it up with the bucket on the wheel tractor, put it into the wheat truck and dumped it in the pasture.

I started trying to keep things cleaned up inside the house. This was about all we did for the next 10 days.
