McCaslin treated at Valley hospital

The Spokesman-Review

Spokane Valley City Councilman and state Sen. Bob McCaslin was rehospitalized last week for an infection after having heart surgery early this year.

McCaslin remains in Valley General Medical Center but is improving after being treated for a complication related to his white blood cells, the Senate Republican Caucus reported Tuesday. The seven-term Republican legislator and first-term councilman is recovering from aortic valve replacement surgery in February.
