Just enforce the law

The Spokesman-Review

“Ollie-Ollie-Oxen-In-Free!” A childhood expression used to call in unfound playmates during a game of hide and seek. Kind of like the game played on our borders with illegals, which also includes the expression Ollie, Ollie, Oxen In Free.

By not building a fence or patrolling, using Army or National Guard troops, we have created the most porous border in the world. And when Arizona decided to do something about it, the legal profession and vocal minority screamed, Ollie, Ollie, Oxen In Free! using the old discrimination legal maneuver.

Arizona’s social programs, who deal with the cost of caring, feeding, medically treating, housing and educating their children, finally had enough. You can call it discrimination if you like. I call it enforcing the law.

The game of hide and seek and Ollie, Ollie, Oxen In Free should be stopped. Build a fence, bring in the cavalry and circle the wagons before the governments involved become insolvent supporting this illegal horde.
